Some Updates
We've made a lot of various little fixes though out the site but I want to highlight a couple of big ones.
- You can now add preview images of the downloads in the download section. If you have a download in there it would be much appreciated if you could get some images up to go with it.
- I've limited the height of avatars to 80 pixels, while the width can be up to 180 pixels. If you've got an avatar up already it would be VERY much appreciated if you could go in and change it to meet the new standard. This will help the forums read easier.
- The other big fix we made that we feel makes the forums read easier is the strips containing user info at the top of every forum post are now darker, so that the eye is not so distracted by them, you can more easily zero in on the posts. This combined with the height limit should really help things out.

I'll have to check the forums again, since when last I looked the vertical info bar seemed to stretch the screen oddly, and had a lot of distracting icons in it.

Thanks for making those changes. I saw for a bit that it looked like the boards were going back to the info sidebars, but with the narrower format it was troublesome. I think you made the right call to move to longer, narrower avatars and topbars for info.
As I adjust to the new boards, I am very pleased with the changes--truly an excellent choice. Thanks for all the hard work. |

I would add another big change is we fixed the post box width from breaking or hiding behind the right edge of the page.

Cool. I just redid my avatar last night, but I think I have to cut 40 more pixels off the right side. :P

Never mind, it looks like the avatar section of the user CP says the width max is 240. Who is right?

Man, the new sight is flippin sweet. Great work. I pulled a page up and BAM! zombies in the banner. Then I saw another with Mr. and Mrs. Esenwein. Loved it. Keep it up!
