After some prodding from ollie, I've decided to blog my units played. The recent draft events have led to an explosion in figures played - I've added 27 new units played in just ten draft games.

What conclusions do you draw from this data, dok?

Uh... I don't know... I play Raelin a lot? There's not really anything I draw from this that I didn't already know, I guess.
Obviously, this reinforces the idea that pooled draft tournaments open things up a lot, power ranking-wise. I'm competitive to a fault (again, not something I needed this table to help me figure out), and I have a hard time playing something I don't think matches up well with at least a very large percentage of the armies I expect to face. With a pooled draft format, that sort of metagaming just isn't in play. You really can play whatever and expect to do well if you play well. It's also just hard to draw conclusions from relatively sparse data. I have two losses with TKN+grubs+PKs and two losses with Kurrok+Fire Elementals... does that mean those are bad combos, or is two losses too little to draw any conclusions from? I lean towards the latter. Or flip that around... it's not as though Otonashi is great since I'm 4-0 with her, especially since I've never placed an OM on her (not even the X). |

Good stuff dok.
 Yeah, the draft opens things up hugely. I still need to do my update from last weekend, but I logged 13 new units in six games. |

Updated with the results of the three recent draft games. 10 new figures from just those three games!
The recent draft event made me realize how important it is to really understand your draft pool when you go to a draft event. Because I had never played the Arrow Gruts before and hadn't really done any testing with them, either, I struggled to find the right combination of figures in the drafts. |

Updated again with some more recent results. Q10, Krug, and Black Wyrmlings all get a big bump with my 7-1 Heroes Only army, and Marcu moves into a tie for third with the Deathreavers (even though he never did anything useful for me).

Updated with NHSD. First games with MDG and the Romans, MBS gets his first wins (I'd only used him as filler in a draft), and the 10th improve to 10-0.
