I was looking on Targets website and they have the castle set for order now. It says product will arrive in 2-6 weeks and its price is $27.99.

This has actually already been posted in a different thread, so don't be upset when the two get merged.

Though it is good to see, isn't it? ;)

it is actually cheaper to do a castle from target than NMG to my house, because shipping is sheaper. It is $34.47 at target, and like 40 from HMG. the only thing is, i can do a money order to HMG, not target, so it come's down to "do i really want to pay shipping plus a money order?" Yep!

Sorry about reposting this topic. I guess I should have looked before I posted it.

Ah, I thought the last topic just said they were on the site, but not yet available for ordering.

Yes it is, it's a pain reading 20-30 pages of merged/long threads to find this type of info when a different thread could call attention to that fact a lot easier...

Has anyone done the math to figure out if it's cheaper to get two castles and Thora's from Target, or from HMG? What if you add in three sets of Tundra?

It sounds like target is the smart bet.....I'd better go cypher this out.

Maybe it will work out that I get Castles from Target, and Thoras from HMG with Tundra.....hmmm.....gotta figure out the absoulute cheapest way to get everything.

as i said above, Shipping VIA target to VA was about 6 dollars, vs the 12 or something like that from sandra. I know sandra is on the other side of the country, but i do not know where Target is at.

They are based out of Minnesota, near the twin cities, if memory serves (which it doesn't always). I don't know if that is where their warehouses are too.

I'm going to be patient in getting this expansion...I will go to a Target store and hopefully get it cheaper than online...In my quest for findg RV and TT, I've found that different Target locations offer expansions sets at different prices; moreover, I bought both of the expansions for 19.99...As far as the figure expansions, I have purchased some at 9.99 price range or 10.99 and even 12.99, so the prices really vary....

I 've noticed the same price differences in the three Targets that are within 10 minutes of my house. Soooo, I now know which stores of the three are my favorite to visit. :D

I'm just wondering if the different price point reflects low interest in HS from that particular area......

Here I've seen these prices, they never vary:
Target $9.99
Wal-Mart $9.94
TRU $12.99

So, Target is actually a sub-store of Amazon, so I thought I'd check them out. Turns out that you can pre-order the castle set through Amazon, and (as of today) it was available for their free shipping (it takes a few extra days, but it's usually fairly quick). Thought you'd all like to know!

Cool, I just ordered one online from Amazon. $27.99, free 5-9 day shipping.

They're arriving in 5-9 days? Do you mean they are sending them out already?

Nope - they're not out yet. That 5-9 days is the shipping time from Amazon when you choose their free shipping (it usually arrives in about 4-5). So, if it doesn't ship for 3 weeks, add 5-9 days to that. (honestly, I do their free shipping all the time, and it's always seemed decently fast)

release time on target/amazon is 2-8 weeks according to the website....
seems a bit iffy, esp considering the number of ppl who've had cancelled orders on amazon already...
