Greed and Heroscape

What's really been tugging at my mind for a long time is how so many people can jsut snatch up all the Heroscape w/o any regard for those who also want to get 1 pack of a common for the first time. This also appears to be what caused the droughts of waves 1 and 3 of the past. People are just greedy. I've seen many pictures of y'all's collections and it continues to astound me. Why have 5 sets of Hounds and G-nators when the most you'll ever use is 2-3? Why have 5 Raknar's Vision? So please, just don't say(or think) you need more of a pack when you already have plenty of them.

stores are drained before i can buy, i actually need some HS but its always going to those who dont need it, yet buy it because they have extra money.

I find it hard to feel bad for you here. Everything in Heroscape is available to the masses in large quantities at at least some point in its run. If you miss out the first time., it will come back around. Nobody is stopping you from getting your toys.

Plus, as a fan of the game you should love it when folks buy large numbers of expansions. I love that there are folks with 42 Master Sets as it contributes to the game's profits and thus increases the likelihood that the game will continue to be made.

Also, folks that buy 5 sets of Gorillinators most likely USE five sets of Gorillinators. I know I don't buy anything I won't use. Just because you only use 2-3 doesn't mean the rest of us should feel bad about using more. I own 8 sets of Blade Gruts and Arrow Gruts and 5 sets of Zombies...which apparently makes me an evil greedy baztard. I like playing big army games with high point values. I use every figure in my collection.

I work hard for my money and don't appreciate beig told how to spend it. If I want to buy Heroscape en masse, I will do so, and I won't feel bad about it for even one second. I'm not scalping, I'm not taking things out of the hands of children, I'm not stockpiling items in their original packaging and not using them in the hopes that I will put my grandkids thorugh college by selling them someday. And ya know, even if I were stockpiling them, that's my right.

I play with several ms and have multiple tables set up with terrain on them. I use portals to move from one to another. We have usually 5 people who play with 500-1000 points armies. I don't appreciate someone telling me how to spend my money. Just because other people don't get the figures that I do, doesn't make me an evil person. I still don't have sir hawthorne. So I guess someone with two should send one to me just to make life fare.

I buy in bulk and I'm not gonna apologize for it. I like lots of figures and I keep 1 mint copy of everything released. I also buy 95% of my scape online, so I don't usually touch store stock.

I'm the only one in my play group who buys the product, so that's another reason why I buy a lot.

It has nothing to do with greed.
