army strategy

hi i made a 400 point army, and i would like some more advice on how to use it (more alternate strategies)

raelin
dumutef
sargent drake
airborne elite
tarn viking warriors

Your army is only 375; you are leaving 25 points on the table.

I'd start by dropping the Dumatef and adding in the Marro Warriors:

Raelin 80
Drake 110
AE 110
Tarn 50
Marro Warriors 50

400

What is your primary strategy? It seems a bit of a potpourri as an army, but one strategy would be to use the Tarn as a screen, keeping the army cohesive (even placement of markers and everyone stays within Raelin's aura). You could protect Raelin with the Dumutef (blocking two spaces with his fig) and have Drake available to do any needed heavy hitting. The AE are for glyphs and heights. Since they're also all the range you have you'll need a bit of a hot hand on the dice if you're up against a range-heavy army.

my strategy is to bring in the tarns and drop the airborne elite on hight and bring in raelin. (first round)

back up with and drake, (take order markers off o raelin)
and so on

assuming the ae are dead bring in the dumutef

Well first you would drop the AE, since they drop before order markers are set, then i would advise using them until they die, cause they tend to die quickly.

moving up tarns and raelin is fine, but why take off the order markers? It's fine to put raelin in palce and then not move her, but not fighting with tarns means they will just die needlessly.

Of course all of this depends on whom you are playing, and a lucky 1st round roll for the AE.

What is your army? It seems like nonexistantnonexister only has a master set, so his figures are limited. His army isn't too bad, it's pretty good if he only has a master set.

And for the record, I would hope your 500 pt army could beat his 400 pt army that consists of only 1st master set figures (not sure if you meant that as a joke or not)
