Hmm. In retrospect, I can see that mentioning that might have been a little tacky and salesmanny. Not what I meant - that Wyvern really is a fun way to roll dice. But it did kind of look like I should be throwing wads of money in the air and saying, 'if you're not shopping with me, you're burning money!!' in front of a warehouse full of bad furniture.

Darks, that is a cool idea. It reminds me of the old Trouble game, that had the little popper in the middle. You pushed it down, it popped up, and the dice inside rolled themselves.

Plus with yours, you're guaranteed of two important things:

1) No way you cheated. You didn't even touch the dice.

2) Those dice are never, ever going to go bouncing around the board and knock over three trees and a squad of 4th Mass.

That was the very first thing I thought of when I saw the thread - the old Pop-o-matic dice, where one or two D6 were forever sealed in a plastic bubble and would be "rolled" (by being thrown around inside the bubble due to the action of a sheet of spring steel) every time that the plastic bubble was pressed down.

Dude, that would be cool. I don't have any idea how - you need spring steel and a plastic dome - but that would be really cool.
