I don't see an issue with having an icon for "Stealth Flying" because it is mutually exclusive with Flying. You'll never have a figure with both, so it won't actually increase the number of custom icons that could appear on a single figure. Plus they're so similar I think they should be treated the same way for consistency - either icons for both or icons for neither one. But for other abilities that aren't as common as superstrength or flying/stealth flying, I agree we shouldn't resort to icons.

C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Here's a quick mockup I did in Photoshop of the dotted outline for Stealth Flying. I'm sure someone more proficient could do a cleaner job, but this might be enough to see how your printer handles it.

Yeah, I was actually going to suggest a Stealth Flying Icon as well. I just wanted to mention this, as I know Phantom Walk is going to be the next suggestion from there. I really don't want to see a card with 5 icons 4 more powers crammed on there, but I wouldn't be surprised to see it happen.
I think my one concern with the Flying icon is that I can already see people are starting to ignore its value entirely. You really have to consider how much Flying adds to your character, especially if they also have range. We're starting to take it for granted (as expected with Super Heroes) and losing focus on just how much stronger it really makes a character. Part of the reason Cap is so cheap is because he's one of the least maneuverable characters in the game. If he could fly, I'm sure he'd easily be worth 30-40 more. Of course, that's a concern I have with the Marvel game in general. One of Heroscape's greatest advantages is the amazing terrain, but for the most part, Marvel characters are going to play like it doesn't even exist |

I'd personally prefer to not use icons at all, but what made me cave for flying/stealth flying is that the associated text for them is SO LONG combined with the fact that so many superheroes have that ability. If a figure has even only one other special which has fairly long text, sometimes it's hard to fit that on there with Flying. I don't really plan on using it to get more abilities on the card, but rather so I can describe the same abilities in more detail.

I think a good rule of thumb is to stick to the 4 abilities max, just like on the official cards. The flying icon should count as one of those 4, not in addition to them. I'm not sure about the superstrength icon.

If you get too tired of all the flying over terrain, just do a scenario or work that glyph (I forget the name) that nullifies flying into more of your games.
I agree, though, that its cost shouldn't be overlooked. And, also that we don't need any Disengage or Double Attack or Counterstrike icons any time soon (or ever). C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Okay 'Skulls, one can't applaud you enough for the exhaustive work you're doing. Not only putting these customs together. But making sure that they're well balanced. So, excellent work there! And the cards look fantastic, as well.
That said, you have P s ylocke in her pink, prim, and proper self, pre "Fall of the Mutants." So where is P s ylocke post "Fall of the Mutants?" ![]() .:: .H3X.™ | Click here to check out bloggy goodness! :: SotW 31 ::. "An out of print game is not unplayable. It is simply more treasured." |

I agree with everything you wrote here. All powers are not created equally - it's possible a unit could have six powers on its card and the cumulative power level still wouldn't be as good as Q9's special. Of course they'd all have to be pretty lame powers, in which case the custom would have other issues. :P
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.
