New shelves for my games.

Codeman came and helped me build some new shelves in my game room a couple of weeks ago. Here are my pics.

Now all I have to do is get everything organized and on the shelves. I am making progress on that. Maybe I will take some more pics then.

Nice Jormi. I would kill to have a shelf set up like that. Looks like it could hold a ton of games.

Thanks. Well so far it is looking like it will be able to hold well over 200. I guessing it is going to be in the 500 range. It all kind of depends on the size games you have though. I have small boxes like Bang and Plauge and Pestillence, up to large ones like The Queen's Gambit and Axis and Allies.

Hey, you missed taking a picture of the fourth corner (the black plastic shelf units). Those shelf units were full of games on them & looked complete.

I hope you post a few pictures on this thread when you get the games on these shelves.

Next time I'm over I hope you have a HS map on the game table (-vs- skyscrappers made from game boxes ). Oh yea getting those 8' shelves was a great idea... as those 10 footers were tough to get up the stairs .

Nice! Tons of storage/display room!
Do you have so many games to fill that shelf space or is it reserved for future purchases?
I'd like to someday get my TPBs and graphic novels back in the house and on display.

I think I can get them about half full with my current collection, but I am not sure. I was hoping there would be some room for future growth there.

Also, Codeman. I am hoping to have some new pics with shelves on them soon.

Nicely done. I am going to have to rethink my storage soon. My game collection is growing rapidly lately.

Thanks for sharing the pics.

Yeah, Sprocket was great help. She always is, like the time she helped me paint her house.

The paint took a long time to get out of that hair, and the garage has permanent paw prints now

Nice addition to the gameroom, Jormi! Interesting, you store you games sideways. I would be concerned that all the pieces would shift and fall out even if it is easier on the boxes. I try to stack only 3 or 4 games together to keep the weight from ruining the bottom boxes and I try to match up box sizes so the upper boxes aren't sitting in the middle of a bigger box and cause warping.

Newb.
