New to forum, just bought Heroscape

Hey guys,

I just picked up Heroscape today. Looks like a lot of fun. I couldn't pass up the discount Toyworld had down from $80 AUS to $30 AUS. Thought I'd come to the main fan forum and give hello. I'm sure to get my moneys worth out this game with your help

Is there anything I should be aware of with the game? Can anyone point me in the right direction for newbie info?

I guess the best resource you have at the moment is the rulebook that came with the game. Sometimes the wording can be tricky though. As for newbie info, you've already found the internet's best Heroscape resource...this site.

Just be sure to use the forum's search function. 9 times out of 10, that burning question you may have has already been answered.

Greatings! Once you get settled into the game, one home-grown add-on that is available for free from this website is called Quests of Heroscape. You can read about it and other great addons in this thread:

Other than that, have fun with the game. I gotta warn ya, its a ton of fun. I got my first set back in Novemeber 2006, and now I've got everything you can buy, some stuff 3x or more times over.

G'day Finalattack welcome to the boards. The first thing you need to do as an Aussie Heroscaper is go back to Toyworld and buy another masterset. You will want the extra terrain to build bigger, better maps. You will not be able to do this for much longer as Hasbro are not currently distributing Heroscape in Australia (Grrrrrrr).
If you live in Queensland you are in luck it seems to have the highest concentration of Aussie scapers. If not then we are a little more diluted.

Welcome aboard Finalattack, pick up a couple more master sets on sale or you'll regret it later. Worse case scenerio you can sell them later. Teach the game to as many people as you can, that way you have someone to play with. Have a blast with the Scape addition!
