Syvarris's Special Ability

Ok I've searched and I can't find a question about this and the Heroscapers FAQ link doesn't seem to be working. So here goes.

With Syvarris' special ability does he have to declare both of his attacks and have both enemy defenses rolled before he begins his attack?

I ask because of attackers choice. If I use Syvarris and I want to split my attack between two figures (with different defensive abilities) do I have to attack one and then the other? Or does the enemy roll defenisive dice for both and then I still get to chose which one my first roll hits and my second? This seems important with situations where the stronger defender is more desireable to remove and actually had the weaker roll.

After he attacks once, he attacks again. Its 2 separate attacks...

3) Your opponent, the defender, roll defensive dice for DW 9000.

4) Determine the outcome of the first attack, either DW 9000 is killed and removed or he survives.

5) You declare that the second attack will be against Ne-Gok-Sa.

6) You roll attack dice for Syvarris.

7) Your opponent, the defender, roll defensive dice for Ne-Gok-Sa.

8) Determine the outcome of the second attack, Ne-Gok-Sa is either wounded, killed, or he survives.

I was about to ask the same thing... i thought the attacker went first.

You guys are right. I don't know why I got those backwards. Of course, in our games the attacker and defender usually roll simutaneously. I edited my original post.
