UPS is at it again...

These people are sooooo frustrating. This is the 4th large box they have lost that was supposed to be sent to me. They pretty much refuse to help you so its up to the seller to be generous enough to send a replacement. $50 or more items a pop, this really bites. These are big boxes too how do you just lose them.

People need to use the post office and drive this company out of business.

I am sorry to hear/ read that endpawn. It always stinks when stuff gets lost. Did one of you buy shipping insurance?

I actually use the post office since it is closer, quicker, and cheaper. you also can still get the whole confirmation and what not. And now the post office will come and pick packages up at your door. they also give you free boxes if you use priority shipping. I personally don't care for UPS at all.

Just look at everything the USPS has to offer and try to persuade me.

Exactly! I always ship USPS Ive never had a late delivery, a missing package. Nothing. So far I have gotten replacement items from the sellers, but that screws them which I dont want to do and it takes several weeks to get a package instead of a few days.

UPS SUCKS THE BIG ONE!

It's not so much that my Tundra was MIA for (2) days but the lack of concern/ customer service on their part. They could casre less. It's Fed X ground from here on out.

Big Brown for some is quite the ironic nickname/brand-izing

EDIT: or is it "what Brown can do for you" ?, either way...

Not to detract from your position or argue against your statements, but I offer the following:

This may by no means be the norm. It could be a fluke, or not related to your problems.

This isn't to say that they might not screw up my next delivery, and if they do you can rest assured I will make it known.

But, as of now I am satisfied with UPS's performance.

One of the things that we tend to forget in this country is that we have one of the least expensive and most reliable postal services in the whole dang world. There is plenty of stuff I don't appreciate or like about our federal conglomeration, but the Postal Serive is spot on.

Dont get me wrong Buddy Lee I have had several perfect transactions from UPS but several slip ups. I ship a ton of packages of I have never had the slightest problem with USPS even shipping internationally. On top of which I get free boxes, free labels, and free tape for half the price. It cost me 12 dollars to send a squad of EOVs UPS. It cost me 1 dollar to send USPS. Theres just no comparison.

just cost comparision...to send a 2 lb box containing 30 usd declared value to Italy........through UPS it was over a 100...through USPS with tracking and such it was 14....

there's just no comparison...
and so far Ive never had a problem with USPS

however UPS constantly annoys me, they will stop by to "deliver" at a time when no one is home, even when told to come at another time..

cheers

UPS's insurance is a scam too. You get it for free. But if you try to collect on it. they will say it's not packaged correctly. They say if you don't pack it so it can be thrown down a flight of stairs and not get damaged, then they arn't liable. What kind of crap is that? What's the point in having insurance then.

CRAPPY COMPANY.

I thought I was wrong once, but I was mistaken.

My UPS story in a nut shell

My box got to the local center @ 8 PM the day before the rschd delivery. Then due to some HS drop out it ended up on the OTHER SIDE OF THE STATE! Instead of sticking it on a van and driving it 70 miles to me they waited another day.

Fed X has done the same but they have DELIVERED on the same day. UPS Customer Service department was useless. They could care less.
