An all-zombie army?

Zombies are tough to eliminate because they "revive". Would you choose an all-zombie army for a tournament?

NO.

The biggest reasons why, would be that I couldn't fill the points up and no real support for them in a 400 or 500 point army. I'd have 20 points left over in a 500 pointer and 40 points left over in a 400 pointer. I would have to throw in a Realin, or Some ranged figures, maybe Microcorp or Krav.

But like someone else has mentioned, it might be fun to do Cowboys vs Zombies. All 4 Cowboys and 4 squads of Zombies, that would be the only time I'd run an all Zombie army,

Plus I sent you a pm,

First off, I don't want to offend anyone. I just would like to ask the moderators if we could have a "poll-free" forum. I understand some people like polls and that's fine. However, I'd like a forum for those of us who DO NOT like polls.
Really? You don't like polls?

No he likes them now, he has seen their power.

I might change my mind on an all Zombie army though. If it was a "No Range" match, then I would consider running all zombies,

Imagine... a flat "castle courtyard" made of all roads on a 16 hex wide map. You have 420 point armies and twenty-one slots in your starting zone - what do you choose?

Well the order markers would be easy to place.

It would probably be an interesting experiment to run an all Zombie army. I may do a solo like that.

16 Dumatefs.... 5x Zombies and Nakita,

Or in a no Range, 5x Zombies and Krug,

All it would take is Braxas to wipe this out quick. Braxas would be killing your squaddies left and right and them you couldn't even "zombify" Braxas. They could be fun in a game, but I don't see them as an effective tourney unit.

Braxas needs some luck and/or good terrain to pull this off because she has to get in range of a zombie move to attack them. I do think a wise Braxas player would simply suffer the passing swipes in order to keep from getting swamped, but I can imagine things getting ugly if she ever whiffed two or three of her rolls. At 20 points per fig, I think she usually takes out 10+ zombies - but only usually.

no. I love the zombies, but they by themselves would get crushed most of the time. You would need some kind of support, whether it would be roborats to tie up the enemy while u move up, or some sort of fire squad for range support. I would like to see how 5 squads of zombies and 2 squads of shades would do. shades could go out and tie up the enemy and perhaps recruit a few units or so, then wait for the zombies to come in. or perhaps use some roborats, they could do well too. i am still looking forward to playing zombie scenerios tho.
