Castle Research and Sharing
I am working on a possible article about the various uses of castles and I need help. (No, not p sychiatric help! Well, maybe.)
If you have created or know of a good (or great) castle scenario (not just a map, but one that also sets up army sizes, objectives, etc.), I would very much appreciate a link or a description placed into this tread. If the scenario is not your own, please include whose it is so I can get the creator's permission if it should happen to be used in an article. Thanks. I'm counting on y'all in the scenario creating segment of the HeroScapers community. I know you're a creative bunch, so please share your best efforts. |

I created a 7-map custom campaign based around a castle seige called The Seige of Dulhammer Crag.
It involves an approach to the castle, breaching the walls, holding the courtyard, and finally delving the depths below in search of the monarch. I was going to submit it to the Codex, but it just needs more playtesting before I put it out there. I've re-done my "Spaceship Soldiers" parody map with Castles, but I don't know if that's what you're looking for.
One unique hero per player...stop the invading hordes...escape in the transport. So is it more strictly maps or scenarios in general you are looking for? |

Rev, I have a map im going to be posting soon that involves an underground entrance into the castle via sewer. I'll let you know once it is finished

What I'm looking for, primarily, are scenarios that use/require castles. Obviously some will be map specific (pretty hard to tunnel into a place without a tunnel), but I'm also looking at how armies are balanced in terms of points between insiders and outsiders, and that kind of thing.
I appreciate the contributions from y'all. |

We either play with a nuetral castle or fort in the middle of the field and you fight for control of it for high ground, positioning, etc. R˙chean has a good map for this.
If doing an attack/defend scenario we don't use the door. |
