Hi Grish, I've been a lurker for awhile now, but I just wanted to say thanks for all you do to inspire others, and for sharing your ideas. Thanks to you I have the creative bug now and can't stop thinking of new ideas for new projects. I posted some of my things a few posts down of some jungle terrain, and ship conversion I did.
Anyway, keep up the awesome work. thanks.

Grishnakh’s Customized Terrain - Part XII - Sci/Fi Terrain

Hey everyone, new project here. These are pictures from a Dark City Games scenario I ran at a local convention (Icon) over the weekend. The scenario is called "Void Station 57" and it takes place on a mysterious, battle wrecked space station.

The figures are all AT-43 miniatures. The playing board was drawn in Adobe Illustrator, printed out and mounted to heavy illustration board. I did this for each room of the station so I could simply place the room the characters were entering on the table quickly. The doors are from Space Hulk. The crates are from my local train hobby store and the other pieces of wrecked equipment are various electrical supplies glued together and painted. The main reactor core is a cardboard mailing tube with various things glued to it and painted grey. In the scenario the main task of the player characters is to turn on the main power. It's not an easy thing to accomplish and it goes on and off several times through the scenario. This was represented by the light in the top of the core. I was able to switch this light on and off.

I will be playing an abbreviated version of this scenario out at GenCon this year if anyone is interested.

Very nice man. Electical scrap is fun to work with. I got a $4,000 junk circuit board from one of my buddies at work. I am looking forward to smashing it up and making some stuff out of it. It's amazing how good stuff looks when you put some good ol black primer on it.

*L* Thanks for that laugh, zanter. Although I suddenly realized that I'm playing a game where tyrannosaurs in jet fighters is a distinct possibility.

The computer terminals look like they are cardboard or foam board gut to size and he glued a print off of a "terminal".

The grey power pole things look like they are dry wall screws painted up.

I think the rest he may have answered for you.
