Wow I saw this movie just last weekend and it was one of my favorite movies ever!!! I thought the ending was the best. Anybody else see and like this movie?

It's "SHAUN of the Dead"... but 'Shawn' does visually resemble 'Dawn' better, doesn't it?

I can't wait until the next time I play HS. I think I may just use that line when I win, (love that movie)

Yeah, that movie was really good. Though I watched it with my wife about a week ago, and she didn't much care for it. She thought they should have carried the comedy over more through to the end. She wasn't a fan of the film shifting into a grittier horror flick in the end. She also isn't a fan of the more subtle English humor...

... so I guess it was a lose, lose situation. But I still laughed.

And to get back to moorific's topic... I'm actually renting the 'Dawn of the Dead' this weekend as I work on my zombie game. Wife is gone 'til Monday, I'm off tomorrow through Sunday, so I've some free-time! Woo hoo!

Shaun and Dawn are both good. And I much prefer the remake Dawn to the much-praused original, which I thought was a bit too thick on the obvious metaphors. The perky bar version of 'Get Down with the Sickness' in the remake, now that was a hoot.

The Dawn remake was, IMHO, very well done. Being a big fan of Zombie horror and Max Brooks book (yes I own the Zombie Survival Guide) I thought it was fairly well done. The extras on the DVD are interesting as well.

Shaun of the Dead was a hoot man. I love how oblivious he is at first. Also, the cricket bat was a nice touch. Remeber swords don't need reloading.

so true. they cant get up and run. i like the part where they are on the mall roof and they are shooting the zombies one by one. that was pretty funny
