Nice map! In my opinion, it's generally not such a good idea to have a raised start zone. Also, I'd suggest having a ruin in either the start zones or blocking off the shorter of the two paths.

Thanks! We played on it today, and it played pretty well, except for the fact that it was really easy to camp in your start zone. The short path seemed to be okay unblocked, as it doesn't have the height the long path does, but I'll try it blocked too. Thanks for the advice!

Alright, new map. (Haven't gotten around to doing a battle on Black_Charos' revised Dralge Swamp yet).

Re: DrummerScaper97's Maps

What kind of snow/ice do you use on that map? If you don't use heavy snow rules, there is a spot that Raelin can get to in one turn that protects both glyphs, which is a little bit overpowered. Another potential overpowered thing: the towers on the side of the map look to be very powerful. They're higher up than the snow height, and easier to maneuver on. Did they seem balance in your play?

Otherwise, nice map. I like the use of the snow on the central height around the glyphs, as it makes it harder to claim that height to get the extra attack. Making the start zones a different color is a very subtly helpful thing, as I hate having to check what the exact start zone is. It might be good to drop the ruins in the start zone, as you aren't using them yet.

We use regular Snow and Ice. The towers seemed to balance well, as most of the action happens in the middle, and it is easy to hide from any ranged figures on towers. The towers mostly seemed as a way to bring the action all around the battlefield, and it was nice.

Re: DrummerScaper97's Maps

Maybe its just me, but generally I don't like to leave a path halfway around a hill or strand the end hex on a 24-piece hex. Either don't put a path, or make one that comes out on the other side. Even if you want to block the path with a glacier or a tree, I'd still recommend completing it.
