Okay, I'm extremely mad at Hasbro right now. I got into the live chat and began typing a long message. I was just about done when I got disconnected. Here's the chat log:

"Elizabeth: Welcome to Hasbro CHAT, this is Elizabeth, how may I help you today?
Elizabeth: Hello Connor.
Connor Tripp: Hi Elizabeth. I've been a consumer of Hasbro for a long time.
Elizabeth: Great! What can I do for you?
Elizabeth: Please contact us back when you have more time. Thank you for contacting Hasbro Consumer Affairs. Have a fun day!
Elizabeth has disconnected."

If you're going to do this, type something up first and copy it into the chat log so you don't get disconnected like I did.

It's probably because it was a long message you got disconnected. If it takes too long, they'll just disconnect you. But yeah, that's ridiculous and anyone that's following through with this should follow your advice.

BTW, they are closed now. Maybe we should have a signup sheet day by day where we have 2-3 people asking about heroscape. The frequency of people asking them for info on heroscape may just make them bring it back.

Wondering if everyone realizes that the people on the live chat have no control over anything and that all of your "Bring Heroscape Back" requests are falling on dead ears. Because people still love the game and there are people willing to pay for new stuff and or reprints does not constitute a valid reason for them to make any more of it. So... unless you can concretely show them how they can continue to produce the game and turn a substantial profit (i.e. you are a manufacturing company in China that will quote them a manufacturing price that makes it viable or you are a market research company with actual figures of how many people still play...how many people still would buy...how much each person would spend per booster etc) then you arent going to make any headway.

I think the key word is "substantial" because I think Heroscape would have no problems being profitable but wouldn't match up to the great Hasbro needs for hand over fist for it's investors.

The technique with conveying a long message through a live chat/help is to sent several short sentences in succession, not type the whole message at one go. That way, the other end will know that you are actively participating in the chat. It's not like posting in a forum or composing a PM wherein you can literally take your time.
