I am making the card for the Boglins, and noticed they only have one attack. All of the cards I can think of (except for the Deathreavers, but they have other uses) have some sort of bonus, like Frenzy and Deadly Shot. Without something like that, I don't see there worth. So here is my thought, up there attack to two and there points to 45. Thoughts?

Playtesting Sebesc, Morphmage

Spoiler Alert!

Armies: 500 points

Sebesc, Morphmage (proxyed with Frost Giant of Morh)
Warforged Soldiers x3
Evar Scarcarver

Dashi Tokainto
Shiori
Otonashi
Isamu
Moriko
Kumiko
Ninjas of the Northern Wind

Setup:




Ninja’s win Initiative and Dashi Tokainto, Shiori and Kumiko move out.
Sebesc uses his terramorph to get the Warforged moving.


Ninja’s move out Isamu and Otonashi, Isamu comes up next to Kumiko, Otonashi goes glyph hunting.


Sebesc sends out 3 more Warforged who find the terrain much easier to cross than usual.


Kumiko moves to height Daishi and Shiori move forward.
Sebesc tries to get in range to use Shurikan special attack but is just one short.


So instead Sebesc morphs to mimic the Warforged Soldiers and tears Kumiko down from her height with a little tactical switch! Deals one wound to Kumiko.


Ninja’s take a turn wailing on Sebesc but he’s hot on the dice and defends every attack.
Sebsec then morphs to mimic Evar’s Double Assault and uses it to finish off Kumiko.


Warforged come up to try to get Shiori off of the attack plus one glyph and deal two wounds to her and to Moriko.


Sebesc flys after Otonashi and morphs Shiori once again and tries to use the Shurikan special attack but wiffs.


Ninjas take out the warforged.



Sebesc Morphs Evar once again and uses Double Assault to finish off Otonashi.


Sebesc then tries to Shurikan a Ninja of the Northern Wind but no dice.


Sebesc gets surrounded and uses Moriko’s Saber Storm Special attack and puts a wound on Moriko and sends Isamu fleeing for the height.


Sebesc wiffs against the ninja’s of the Northern Winds 4 skulls and falls.




Wrap-up analysis

Sebesc was a very fun unit to play and in this power rich environment proved to be very versatile and have a lot of staying power. Definitely makes a very good tank though I probably over exposed him and made several mistakes with my order marker placement. 150 did seem about right because even though Shape Shift was very powerful Sebesc’s life and defense make him just the right mix of having staying power but still being fragile so I would say his points are about right. I was wondering why he has stealth flying instead of just normal flying though. It was very useful in getting Sebesc from place to place but is it really realistic for an insane large Butterfly Dragon to be very stealthy? Or is it a byproduct of his ability to change his shape that makes him stealthy? What’s the the theme behind it?

Here's a few tips on card making: Do not resize the base of the card, it will help later. If you get your figure from a non-transparent background, blur the figure by 1 to make it blend nicer. To get rid of a base, trace around the feet with the eraser tool. To add fog, use a transparent gradient (found in Paint.NET, not sure about other programs), it looks great!

I am thinking of using this figure for the Troupe. What do you all think? Also, if anyone has this figure, could you tell me its side.

Edit: I also need this figure, Ironfur Bear, re-painted to look like a panda (for the Devil Pandas).

Also, I need this figure, Edo, Male Ninja, painted to have his outfit purple (Myvra's purple).

I use airbrush on GIMP, using a color dropper to get the fog color from the fog lines in the background.
