I really like Tollways and Trollways. It seems so much bigger than just one BftU and a RttFF. I also like the symmetry that is sometimes left out of BftU maps. Nice job!

Molten Mounds has some nice spots for a Wyvern to drop figure to a molten lava death!

New map added on behalf of the Bearded One for Rychaen's map contest. Supports one random glyph and a fixed Wannok. With only 1 day left before the submission deadline some feedback would be great.

I like the look of it, But I don't like that it's not symmetrical.(I'm a symmetry freak ) Other people have no problem with it though, as long as it's pretty fair. I do think that the 2 hexer next to the glyph is a nice Raelin/Zelrig perch......

I really like the use of space on this board. It doesn't have a huge footprint, but it is truly a big board (in terms of hexes revealed). Lack of symmetry isn't really too big of a deal, as it allows you to do more interesting things with the board. I'm sure that this board looks very nice when built.

My one big concern is the elevated area in the back, especially the Wannok up there. Initiative in the early rounds is going to be crucial, and whoever reaches the height first is in a great position for the rest of the game. Long-ranged figures can camp up there and shoot down right down into the opponents starting zones, and figures with a shorter range can pick off figures as they attempt to exit the start zones. This map will be brutal on melee. There's no roads, lots of elevation changes, and the trees don't help too much. I'd recommend moving some of the trees just a little. The tree that is by the two hexer by the glyph and the tree near the center of the board should both be moved into a position where they can better block LOS and offer protection for melee. The bushes in the water are kind of strange, and might also be good to move.

It takes two turns for Zelrig to reach that from one side, but it's obviously not ideal.

Thanks for the advice, I've made some changes accordingly. First off I removed the 2 hex by the glyph to eliminate the Raelin/Dragon perch (can't believe I didn't see that), I added the two extra hexes to each side of the bottom glyph for added maneuverability. I change Wannok to a random glyph, so the hill is a little less dominate. A tree in the middle was illegally placed (Big thank to GameBear for informing me of this) so I removed that tree and the one in back of the bottom glyph and placed them on each side to the entrance of the peninsula. And lastly I removed the the two bushes in the water (they were only there for aesthetics in the first place, though they did look good live) and placed them on each side of the third level so melee will have a easier time ascending the hill. On the right side of the bottom glyph it looks like the water is elevated, but it isn't I have no clue why it look that way.

Well, my bad But, Zelrig/Raelin can reach it in one turn from the other side That's what I don't like about non symetrical. I don't mind for casual games, but that would really bug me in a tourney if my oponents zelrig could get there in one turn and mine couldn't
