Would you play in a tournament with this format?
I could have sworn we had a thread for event formats but for the love of me I cant find it...so I started this thread to introduce an idea I had today (although someone else may have already suggested this at one time)
BACK TO BASICS This is your standard kill em all format but with this difference. Each player builds and army that costs 500 (for example purposes only can be any point cost) However for the game they must play one unit that has a value of 50 or higher using only the Basic Side of the card. (again for example purposes only can be any point cost) Thoughts??? |

Re: Would you play in a tournament with this format?
I'm assuming that that figure would get only 1 life, like how the basic rules are suppose to be played?
I like it. It would be nice to play using the basic side. It would get people to actually look at the basic sides, probably the first time in awhile Trade Thread Now with Gladiatrons, Templars, and more! |

Re: Would you play in a tournament with this format?
How would the Basic Figure's species and such work?
For example, could the Arrow Gruts still bond with a Basic Krug? Would chomp still work on a Basic Drake? My Repaints and Mods: Updated 04-30 My Custom Cards: Updated 04-28 My Custom Superheroes: Updated 03-05 My Blog: Soundwarp's Space, My Etsy Store |

That looks like a decent format, I might actually play it.

Re: Would you play in a tournament with this format?
So, due to the lack of a Height stat there'd be no falling damage or climbing limit... hmmmmm...
Spoiler Alert!

Re: Would you play in a tournament with this format?
Do you pick the card that plays basic?? or does your opponent?? cause letting your opponent pick could make things interesting.
