Need Help!

Hey Heroscapers! I'm in a bit of a jam, and I need your help. I have an idea for a custom unit, (I won't go into specifics), but no miniature to accompany it. I need someone to suggest a miniature that meets the following criteria:
1) Looks like it follows Aquilla.
2) Is pre-painted.
3) Is found cheaply on at least three online store sites, with 70+ widely available.
4) Has the feel of a flag bearer.

Googling "miniature flagbearer" and miniature "standard bearer" yielded no results. I don't play many other wargames similiar to heroscape, so I don't know any that would suit this off the top of my head.

Why is this a big deal again? Rather than restricting your search to something like that, try restricting it to something you like and is cheap enough to purchase. When designing customs, you should focus more on what you like, not what others like.

Sounds like SoA has an idea he wants to nominate for Soldiers of Valhalla. Insufficient availability has shot down many an idea in that project.

Well, good luck SoA. Can't help you out though. I think the only games that use flag bearers are war games (HS, Warhammer, etc.). There isn't much use for a flag bearer in the typical miniature game sources (DnD anyone?). And, Warhammer is definitely not cheap, painted and not always assembled

It is hard to find figures that are pre-painted and available that look like Flagbearers,,,,I've been searching for them since the beginning of the C3V.

The best I've seen is the Zungar Standardbearer from the Dreamblade miniature line. Nice scale, holds a large flag, and to me seems to fit an Aquila theme.

I have that figure with several other zungar that I got in order to have a faction of them. You are right, the standard bearer would definitely be fitting as an Aquilla flagbearer. I am not sure about availability since I got mine quite some time ago.

The thing with FBs, however, is that they usually come from a faction that is already present in the general's army so the zungar would lose out on that criteria.
