Um... sometime soon. I have it written up, but I'd like to get a bit more ahead before I start posting again. Currently I'm trying to work my way through Ullar's giant battle, so it might take a while. No more than two weeks though, maybe one. It'll most likely be on a weekend.

Ah, it goes well with Valhalla. Well, not well with Ullar, but well with LBV anyway. I was speeding up to the battle when distractions intervened. Tomorrow: Saturday, which contains a several hours' long pause in which there are no distractions. Prepare.

Okay. I am taking this off of hold. I'll begin posting probably sometime tomorrow, or if not then, then Monday. I have been writing furiously all day, and am almost finished with book two. I had to make a few impromptu changes, one of them very large, but everything worked out just fine. So, if I can finish book two by tomorrow, which I should be able to do, I will begin the post!

I'm here! April and May are pretty busy for me, but im back. You could make some fun custom units out of the Slayer, Flail, and Berserker Gruts, as well as Kit and co.

I plan to, but Kit is OB's creation, so I can't make a custom out of him. I plan on having a whole wave or two though for the whole series.
It turned out that there just wasn't quite enough time in the day to do everything, so I will most likely be posting tomorrow. I probably won't be done with book two, but it won't be long now. I am finally up to the battle I have been plotting all the way since I started this fan fiction.

Righto. Well, in order to appease Iron Man, I shall post. Still not done with part two, but we're getting there. I warn you, some of these chapters coming up are rather long. As in longer than usual, anyway.
So, on to part two, which is significantly shorter due to above mentioned impromptu revisions. It worked better that way.

Part Two: Ullar’s Final Stand
Chapter One: Ill Tidings
“You say you had never seen these orcs before?”
Atlaga winced in pain as his wound was tended to. The elves had retreated through the forest, leaving the perusing orcs far behind, and had soon come to the plain of Enthuldil, in central Ekstrom. Ullar’s Citadel, recently completed, resided deep within the large forest beyond, and it was for this that they had made. The flat plain stretched for several miles, painting the horizon with nothing but a waving border of tall grass and an occasional tree or shrub. Then, quite suddenly, the grassy plains had been replaced by rocky slopes and foothills where the grass first grew sparsely, and then not at all. Only a few scraggly pine trees could cling to the hard ground. Soon afterwards, the elves had reached the Olorin Pass, a deep cleft cut between two huge mountains that rose sharply on either side. The pass was short, only about a mile long, but it was narrow in the middle. After that it widened out into a sort of valley between the mountains, and from there flowed out into another smaller plain before giving way to the forest of Ullar.
It was here, on the forest’s side of the pass, that Atlaga now lay.
The remaining elves had run right into almost Ullar’s entire army. He had received word just after Atlaga had left that Utgar, with a huge force, was approaching behind the orcs, and had determined to make his stand at the Olorin Pass.
“Yes,” Atlaga said, through clenched teeth. “There were Blades and Heavies, but at least half of the orcs I had never seen before.” He let out his breath as the pain in his arm ceased and the healer stood up.
Ullar frowned. “If Utgar is recruiting even more than before, that can be only bad.”
Atlaga, his arm fully healed, stood up. “But can’t you just summon more people to match his own rate?” he asked.
“No,” said Ullar. “Summoning takes a great amount of energy, both from the summoner and from the wellspring. The wellspring can only be used to summon once every six hours, and it usually takes longer than that for the summoner to recover. From what those two Imperium told me, Einar wiped out plenty of Utgar’s forces. That he has been able to not only rebuild them, but to launch another attack this fast can mean only one thing: that he can replenish his energy much faster than we can. He ahs doubtless taken over Einar’s wellspring, so that’s another advantage. And we can probably assume that Aquilla has been wiped out, since we haven’t heard from her in over a month, so he probably has her wellspring as well.”
Atlaga frowned. “And with the news from Jandar’s capital…”
Both knew that the odds were heavily against them. The only wellspring that Utgar did not control was Ullar’s, which was only a few miles behind them. If Utgar broke through Ullar’s defenses, all of Valhalla would be helpless.
There was a pause and then Ullar said, “So both Grimnak and Tornak are definitely dead then?”
“Yes,” replied Atlaga, glad for the change of topic. “Definitely.”
“Good. That’s two fewer commanders we have to worry about.” Ullar strode form the tent in which Atlaga had been tended, and the kyrie general followed him.
“I still don’t know what went wrong at the river,” he said. “We should have had the orcs pinned in the water.”
“If they were the common Gruts, you probably would have,” said Ullar, “but your arrows didn’t affect the large ones, so they were able to break up the flow of firing. The orcs also had far more armored warriors than usual, allowing them to get across the river mostly unscathed.”
Atlaga always marveled at Ullar’s tactical genius. He was nearly a match for Einar. Ullar had not been at the battle at the river, and yet he had understood it better than Atlaga had.
Discussing the battle, the two kyrie made their way past tents set up for all of Ullar’s generals, past warriors rushing back and forth carrying orders, armor, or other items, and past weapon smiths repairing blades of all kinds, and forging new ones. After a few moments, they turned a corner in the rocky mountainside that towered to their left. Before them stretched the Olorin Pass, straight, narrow, and shadowed over by the steep walls of the mountains. As Atlaga looked, a burst of flame erupted in the distance. Scanning the far distant plains, he could just barely make out a dark line winding its way among the rocky hills and dark pine trees.
He looked up at Ullar, who was, after all, a head taller than any kyrie. Ullar’s expression was one akin almost to horror. His face looked as it might have had he just seen his own death coming, unpreventable, irrevocable. Then his expression changed, and hardened into one of resolve. Utgar must not make it through the pass. He must not reach the forest beyond. They must not fail.

My friend William099 told me I was supposed to come over here and make sure you were writing... glad to see things have picked up again though not as much fighting in this scene as I would like. Though it looks like you have some nice buildup for your following chapter so I will spare your Fan Fic this time. JARVIS make a note to check up in a week or so if he's keeping up!

Honestly, I don't see a way out of this. Let's take look:
Jandar- kaput
Vydar- traitor
Einar- out of commission, on another planet
Aquilla- waaaay kaput
Valkrill- ???
Utgar- marching on Ullar with his vast army
Ullar- holed up in the woods, waiting for Utgar's armies

Unless Valkrill attacks Utgar at the same time that the latter launches his assault on Ullar... or Einar makes it back with some sort of reinforcements... I just don't see it.

But this is one intense setup.
