The Battle of Tantive IV:
After being shot dead in the water by an Imperial Star Destroyer, Princess Leia’s ship, the Tantive IV was invaded by a group of stormtroopers and Lord Vader himself. Now the Rebellion’s only hope is that the small group of rebel soldiers on board can stall the Imperials long enough to allow the princess to send out the secret plans…

GOAL:
Player 1 must capture Princess Leia Organa, while Player 2 must buy her time to escape.

SETUP:
This map requires 2 Fortress of the Archkyrie. The Castle Door is not used in this map. Player 1 drafts a pre-made army of Princess Leia and 4 Squads of Rebel Troopers and places them in the blue start zone with Princess Leia on the cyan start zone. Player 2 drafts a pre-made army of Darth Vader and 3 Squads of Stormtroopers and places them in the red start zone. Both castle doors should be removed from the battlefield.

SPECIAL RULES:
Figures do not receive any bonus for using the wall walks.

VICTORY:
Player 1 wins if he destroys all of Player 2's figures. Player 2 wins if he destroys all of Player 1's figures or has one of his figures adjacent to Princess Leia by the end of round 5. Player 1 may also win if Player 2 does not have one of his figures adjacent to Princess Leia by the end of round 5.


MAP BIO: The Tantive IV is an Alderaanian vessel tasked with bringing Princess Leia Organa and the stolen plans for the Death Star to the Rebel base on Yavin 4. The only hiccup with the mission is when a tractor beam pulls them into dock with an Imperial Star Destroyer.

Initial playtest:

Few changes needed:

1) Change Mac122 to the person who made the map.

2) The rebels start in the red SZ. (You may want to change that around (red to blue and vice-verse))

3) Change the name to "The Battle of Tantive IV". My suggestion anyway.

4) Change "...has one of his figures adjacent to Princess Leia by the end of round 5... to "has one of his figures adjacent to Princess Leia by the end of round 5 that is not engaged to any rebel trooper..."

5) Possibly make a separate section for "Requirements".

EDIT: I don't think I made #2 clear. I mean go into VS and make the red, blue and the blue, red and keep the SZ like they first were.

Also I thought we all agreed with 2 squads of Stormtroopers while yet we have enough for 3 and the set up says 3 so take out one squad and also take out the front four red SZs.

For #1, just type, "Map Created by Mac122. Scenario created by Heroscaper2010."

Sorry, I had added the changes to the PDF, but not to the Hologram.

I would rather leave them in, so their is a little extra space so Player 1 has a couple of different positioning options.

Ok, but could we take out the one in the door space it just seems to be out there.

Thanks, but it should be shared credit. I just made modifications to the original idea.

Mac122, could you post separate pictures of each level, with the one start zone removed (if you have the file saved, then it would be easier for you to do then then for me to have to build it from the instructions).

Only because I didn't create the original map Fi did so I'll take credit for the Scenario but Fi can take credit for the original map and Mac you may take credit for the modifications of the map. Is everyone ok now with their credit?
