That's a really nice Throne Room, have you play tested it any yet?

Also, what is that long hallway opposite the catwalk? I've got an Star Wars locations cross-section book open in front of me and from what I can tell the Emperor's tower is made up of four prongs, with the Throne room occupying one of the four.

Everything else looks pretty darn close to the real version.

It's not really a hall way. It's the ledge that Skywalker beats down Vader and cuts off his arm and the place the Emperor gets thrown off into. Just imagine your standing a 1000ft above that void space.

And no, I have not playtested it yet. I need to either make a scenario or find good balanced SZ's or both.

That is a great looking map HS. I'll definitely have to lexan mat that one, but it looks just like the movie, so that's worth it.

Fi- sorry about my last post, I reread that and realized how degrading that sounded. I appreciate all the leadership you put into this, it's way more work than I could accomplish.

Funny you should say that...because I watched the movie right before I made the map. Even paid attention to tiny details like how many steps there were (12-14 / about 2 to get my 5 steps) and how close Vader/Luke came to bumping their heads on the throne floor (I hope thats clear).

Anyway...that's how I've built the BoSS maps so far.

Hey, it is no problem I certainly feel no insult from that post. I frankly think that we all hold an equal part in this project, the only difference is I run the first post .

Ooh, could you scan that page and post? I've got some ideas for custom catwalk to go on a throne room map.

Heroscaper- I always figured that was on one of the walkways by the central turbolift. I haven't watched the movie in a while though.....

Are we talking about the same thing here?

I'm talking about the one that curves (the 7-hex/9-hex wall walks).

Are you talking about the one by the door because yes those are the platforms the Imperial Guards go off scene on, when the Emperor says, "Guards leave us."

I made an Endor map, if y'all want to see it. It's not very movie accurate, is a bit heavy on sets, and is certainly not a scenario map, but with a little imagination, it's definitely an Endor map. It needs work, but if you want to see it, I'll upload it.

Edit: I won't post it here for now, but I did send it to Hs2010 at his request.

In four days time, I will be in the process of moving and will give temporary leadership to Heroscaper2010. I will be off for about a week, and will only be able to hop on HoSS for Sev the few times I do get on.

Tomorrow I will temporarily hand off leadership of Boss to Heroscaper2010. At that time he may decide to continue recieving map nominations for his proposed map, or cut it off and continue the process.
