Seeing as there has not been a lot of activity here, I will delay the map deadline one last time and move it to the 29th. If no one submits a map by then, then Heroscaper2010's map is automatically moved on.

Actually FS, could we drop Rescue the Princess. Seeing as the actual movie has Imperial Officers and not Stormtoopers I'd like to withdraw it and do a different one. When however we do see Imperial Stormtroopers we can come back to this map a do it. HOWEVER we could do the map with Stormtroopers and whenever over at HoSS we make some Imperial Officers we can redo this with Imperial Officers in place. It's up to us to decide. I really don't care which.

If you want to do a different map for these reasons then it makes perfect sense. It might actually be good to do a Casual map soon anyway.

Also, I will give another two days for Mac to put in his vote on adding the new rule/finalizing map. If he votes no then we have to re-review it, if he votes yes or doesn't vote at all in two days, then it will be passed.

A casual map is one that you play without a scenario, and must have 2 start zones. It is so you can field any army you want. An example of this might be Mustafar, where a scenario couldn't be done.

Sure you could:

Anakin vs. Obi-Wan plus neutral Separatist figures...lava map where more lava tiles are placed on the map after each round or turn...Anakin must kill the Separatists before round x...Obi-Wan prevents.

Didn't think about that. I am sure their is some planet, or a diffrent part of one we have already done, that could be used to make a casual map that has no canonical signification.

Well, you could do a "casual map" with just about any locale. Hoth, Death Star, Mustafar, you name it! Just because something cool happened there in the movies, doesn't mean you must do a scenario map for that location.

Heroscaper2010, you can go ahead and add that rule to the PDF file and make sure there are no last minute spelling errors then repost it here. to all who helped make this historic event possible (the first BoSS map and the first map using only two terrain sets, FotA at that!). Note: Mt. Dew is in the cups of us underage folk .
