Character Bio - Dr. Victor Fries is an expert molecular biologist. As a child, he was fascinated by freezing animals. His parents, horrified by his "hobby", sent him to a strict boarding school, where he was miserable, and felt detached from humanity.
In college, he meets a woman named Nora, whom he falls in love with and ultimately marries. A year and a half after Bruce Wayne becomes the Batman, Nora has acquired a disease, while Fries works on a freeze ray. Fries' boss decides to tell the mob about the gun, leading Batman to create a team of specialists to help him do his job better. Fries decides to use the device on Nora, to put her in cryo-stasis, but due to tampering from his boss, Nora is frozen and shattered and Fries becomes insane. Targeting those responsible for the death of his wife (whom he talks to often), Fries takes up his freeze ray gun and creates a cryogenic suit to keep himself eternally cold, and now becomes Mister Freeze, Batman's first super villain.
Freeze's crimes tend to involve freezing everyone and everything he runs into so he hardly ever forges alliances with the other criminals in Gotham, preferring to work alone.

Range 4. Attack 3.
Start the game with 4 blue Ice Markers on this card. When a Unique or Event Hero receives one or more wounds from this special attack, you may place an Ice Marker from this card onto the defending figure's card. Subtract 1 from a figure's Move and Defense numbers, to a minimum of 1, for each Ice Marker on its card. If that figure moves onto a lava field or molten lava space, remove all Ice Markers on its card from the game. Figures with the Ice Resistance special power are not affected by this special attack.

ICE RESISTANCE
Slippery Ice and Heavy Snow only count as 1 space when moving. Add 1 die to Mister Freeze's defense while on an ice or snow space.

FIRE WEAKNESS
If Mister Freeze is on a lava field space, he rolls 2 fewer defense dice and 2 fewer attack dice.

Looks good. I wonder if his normal attack shouldn't be a 5? Both because the suit greatly enhances his strength and to make it more of an option compared to the special attack.

Design looks great. Agree with attack 5. Also, think perhaps his life should be 4 and his defense 6. He seems to be more reliant on the suit than his own constitution, similar to Iron Man. Wouldn't be terribly upset if his SA had a range of 5 either.

Small tweak on the personality. Should be Obsessive instead of Obsessed like everywhere else it's been used.

Could also be "after receiving a wound"?

A wound from any attack but the Freeze Ray Gun SA. So Freeze can keep pounding that figure with ice continually subtracting from the stats.

Great job!

I like 4 life/6 defense also. Should make him just slightly easier to kill and makes more sense thematically, both of which are good things, IMO.
I like the SA with a range of 4 just because I think it can be a pretty devastating attack, so I like his having to put himself right in the fray to use it.

I've never seen someone "thaw out" mid battle when part of their body is completely encased in ice by Freeze. So I think the effect holds up thematically. I think it's a fun effect mechanically that I trust Griff to tweak in playtesting if it becomes a problem.
I'd honestly rather see some other tweaks if it seems too powerful than a tweak to make the effect temporary. I'd rather see any of the below happen instead (mostly to keep the text on the power tight):

1) Lower the number of markers to 4
2) Lower attack to 3
3) Change the effects of the marker to only affect two of the stats instead of all of them (like Move/Defense for instance).
