I always imagined Braxas as some kind of cave dragon. The eyes could provide a very nice intimidation factor while the rest of the body would be nearly impossible to see.

Not to mention that some deep caves contain alkaline deposits. I can imagine Braxas having a sanctuary, carved out by her acid and horns over a few years. Combine the Batcave with Carlsbad.

Sorry about the Marro taking so long. 10 hour workdays and general research are bringing up a lot of loopholes to their evolution up to the point of sentience.

I am stuck with a conundrum, you all can decide which way this goes:

Do you believe the Marro evolved similar to us, and then they artificially branched off, via the removal of skin and onward to their current forms, or did they evolve without skin? Whichever answer is more popular is going to make this part of the research go that way. I might also include a branch theory that covers the other option, but, apparently, there is very little research done on Earth (the basis for my findings) about skinless animals.

And the reason they probably have exoskeletons instead of skin is because its much easier to clone that way. No problems involving skin stretching, breaking, blood all over the place, bleh. Just pop open your exoskeleton, and presto!
