I like all these ideas. These all could be potetional great armies. Keep giving ideas out. Like I'm not a fan of Ogre Warhulk or Marvel stuff so start building ideasoff of that.

First, it's not too late to stock up on Waves 1, 8, 10, 11, 12 and 13 at reasonable prices.

Second, for casual play proxies are your friend! I don't own any Heavy Gruts, but I do own lots of Blade Gruts, so I can play Heavies whenever I want.

Finally, check out this thread for a well developed discussion on which commons can perform well with just a single squad.

It is amazing to me that Cyprien & Sonya keep popping up in this thread and yet the Vampires and fiends pack was just listed by a couple of people as one of their top 5 worse small booster packs to buy.

Why would they be the top worst expansion pack? Cyprien, Sonya, and Isamu are great. I mean, Kyntela isn't the greatest and I've played battles where Warden was incredible.

Vampires and Fiends was the pack with Iskra, Marcu, and the Retchets, not Cyprien/Sonya. I'm pretty sure that one was Heroes of Elswin or something.
