I would LOVE feedback, especially on the newer cards (not in spoilers).

New Cards:
Lord of the Rings
GONDOR SWORDSMEN: From the same Lord of the Rings Miniatures set as the Gondor Archers (below), this unit offers an interesting choice: Load it up with order markers or use it to hold strategic positions with extra defense. A 4 figure squad.

Vikings
BEOWULF: Like below, a figure from WargamesFactory, the Viking Sampler Set. I enjoyed doing my own take on the famous hero from mythology, and I think he turned out fairly well. He works amazingly while bonding because it takes full advantage of his special ability. I'm a little shaky on the point value for him though...

THOR'S BERZERKERS: Figures are from WargamesFactory (a great source of cheap minis) and were made from the Viking Sampler Set which contained enough for 8 custom figures. While I don't know if it's still available, you can buy a larger set. They were designed to be strong in offense, and like real viking berzerkers, completely unaware of anything but the fight they are in.



The second squad is wearing leather armor, because that's the type of torso the viking sampler set gave me. Both are the same card though, so I have 2 squads.

Lord of the Rings

Spoiler Alert!

GONDOR ARCHERS: These are the archers from the Games Workshop set Warriors of Minas Tirith from their Lord of the Rings Miniatures line. It came with enough to make two squads of four archers. These actually could stand in for those Archers of Weston that never happened, although I will be using them to start a collection of Gondor themed units.





Points Explanation: I compare this unit primarily to the 4th Massachusetts line. They have almost the same base stats, with an extra defence. I tacked on an extra 10 points for that. The special ability can be compared to "wait then fire" as more dangerous but less reliable.

7/31/11-Added updated image. Now has photos and special ability has been changed so the insta-kill 20 now only deals two wounds.
12/24/11-Changed special ability from 15-17= 1 wound and 18-20 = 2 wounds to current version. Lowered points from 90 to 80. Decided this unit is ready for use in MY mainstream games.

This is a figure mod that I saw on this website a long time ago and just had to try. Unfortunately I do not remember who posted it, but I did make a card! This guy is just for fun, but any suggestions are welcome!

I like the Gondor Archers ability. It seems to me like 90 is a little low for 4 figures that can do so much chaos with a few good rolls. I'm new though so I could be wrong.

For the Gondor Archers I think you have to price right if you leave out the part about destroying the figure with Flaming Arrows. A common squad with the ability to land instant kills is overpowered even if it takes a 20 roll to do it.
