Alright! We have competitors! So, since we seem to once more have a competition on our hands, I think I'll set the deadline for 8 PM Eastern next Saturday, unless, of course, there are any objections.

It's a Christmas miracle! I guess it's coincidence that we both had free time to write stories on the same day 22 days after the prompt, but it's a happy coincidence. To be honest, yesterday was the first time I've had time to go on this site in a while. I noticed the lack of submissions and knew I had to help. I should be able to get this up by 12:30 or so EST.

Wasn't able to finish mine but I'll try to get it done at some point this weekend. It's a long one and my first story in a while, but hopefully it's interesting and worth the read. In any case, it'll provide competition.
