The one I have in mind for sure is the "Arcane Guard" which will likely just use the already existing Guard Class, but the powers will be akin to assassination and tactical powers like 'Chain Grab' and 'Gaseous Form.'

Hmmmnn... Assassination, you say? I like the sounds of that.

Also, I have been thinking along the lines of treasure glyphs while I was playing Warcraft 3 and I thought, " Well shoot, some of the things they sell in the goblin Merchant places would work swell ffor heroes of scape, so here I go,

Scroll of the beast
Temperary treasure glyph.
When used, all freindly figures within 4 spaces get +1 attack for 1 round.

Scroll of healing
Temperary treasure glyph
When used, all freindly heros get 1 wound taken from their army card if wounded.

Magic immunity vial
Temprary treasure glyph
When used, the hero adds 2 automatic shields to their defensive roll when attacked by a special attack. Last's for 1 round.

Very nice! These items will be added to the item list. They might provide inspiration for a few others as well.

well, I have done some testing, and I'll try and get my notes up (there on my laptop), but I'm gonna remove some of the abilities, to make it fit with the others.
