Surprising Results from Unit Analysis

First Post!

First, let me introduce myself and then I'll describe a pet project of mine. I am a male, 28 years old, and an Alabama native. I went to the University of Alabama (the school with all of those national football championships). During my time at the University, I worked at Wal-Mart during the summers to pay my tuition. One summer, and a relatively rough one for me personally, I was finishing my shift working in Sporting Goods. I was exiting through Toys since I liked looking at all the new stuff and that' s where I found Heroscape. A Sci-Fi / History / Fantasy board game with miniatures and a build-it-yourself board. How could people not love it?
My girlfriend at the time thought I was crazy for buying it, but in one session (the first), I converted her, my brother, and 1 of my roommates. (To be fair, my roommate was already somewhat into D&D).
Since then, I have acquired at least 1 of nearly every expansion pack, the equivalent of 3 master sets, 2 fortresses, and I am just now working on building custom landscape and learning to repaint miniatures.

So, the pet project? I have combined hours of solo play with a love of math and my Computer Science minor to create an Excel workbook that takes the attributes of characters and predicts their usability, purpose, and ideal lineup. My first results will be posted in a separate post to avoid 1 extremely long post.

I predict that Raelin, Q9, and Rats will do well in the analysis.

Sound tedious, but can't wait 'till it's done.

Re: Surprising Results from Unit Analysis

I don't know the formula being used, but I predict that the Rats do worse in this than would be expected. Q9, Stingers, 4th/10th will do very well. Trons might, too.
