Character Bio - Franklin Hall was a physicist working at a private research facility on a practical teleportation device. During the experiment, Hall attempted to align a set of matrices and induce teleportation, but only succeeded to overload the power handling capacity of his equipment, causing an explosion that intermingled his molecules with the sub-nuclear graviton particles that were being generated in a nearby series of companion particle accelerators. After he recovered from the accident, Hall discovered that he could mentally control gravity. He tried to hide his new found powers at first, but the temptation to use them was too great to resist. Hall enjoyed the fear he inspired in people with his powers, and he started to take whatever and whoever he desired. Eventually Hall, a man of great ambition, designed a costume, and began to call himself Graviton, taking over the research facility, forbidding all communications with the outside world. Realizing the danger, a former colleague of Hall managed to send a distress signal to the Avengers in New York. Furious, Graviton used his power to lift the facility several thousands of feet into the sky before threatening to 'make an example' of Joe by crushing his body. Joe was only saved when his wife Judy, the unwilling object of Graviton's affections, used her influence with Graviton to make him stop his torture. During his attempts to court a young woman named Judy, the Avengers tried to rescue the facility. Despite their best efforts, the team quickly discovered that they were no match for the new master of gravity, who was full of confidence in his vast powers and wielded them with great skill. _____________________________________________________________

Powers

Gravikinesis: Graviton possesses the ability to mentally manipulate gravitons (that carry the attractive, gravitational force between atomic nuclei), enabling him to control gravity. He can surround any object or person including himself with gravitons and anti-gravitons (particles similar to gravitons but with opposite charge and spin), thus increasing or decreasing the Earth's pull of gravity upon it.

• Flight - By decreasing the pull of gravity beneath him, he can fly at any speed or height at which he can still breathe. However by using his force field generation he can also breathe in space.
• Movement Impairment and Graviton Attraction - By increasing the pull of gravity beneath his opponents, he can pin them to the ground, having made them too heavy to move, or cause sufficient gravitational stress to impair the normal functioning of the human cardiovascular system. He can also cause an inanimate object (such as a 1-foot diameter rock) to radiate enough gravitons to give it its own gravitational field, able to attract nearby matter and energy.
• Graviton Blast and Force Field Generation - By rapidly projecting gravitons in a cohesive beam, he can generate a force blast with a maximum concussive force equivalent to the primary shock wave of an explosion of 20,000 pounds of TNT. If concentrated enough Graviton can exert is power to level a whole city.He can also create a gravitational force field around him capable of protecting him from any concussive force up to and including a small nuclear weapon.

Graviton can exert his gravitational control over a maximum distance of 2.36 miles from his body. Thus, the maximum volume of matter he could influence at once is 6.88 cubic miles. He once exercised this control by lifting into the air an inverted conic frustum-shaped land mass whose uppermost area was 4 miles across, and causing it to fly as though it were a dirigible. He can also erect a gravitational force-field of similar proportions. (Graviton can perform as many as four separate tasks simultaneously. (He has not only lifted a 4 mile wide land mass as high as cloud level, but he has also surrounded himself with a force-field, gyrokinetically held most of the Avengers against a slab of rock, and projected force-bolts at Thor all at the same time). Graviton can use his power at maximum capacity for up to eight hours before mental fatigue significantly impairs his performance, and considerably longer (up to eighteen hours) if he conserves his energy during that time.

He was somehow also able to bestow the power of self-propelled flight to at least 70 people independent from his location, however he was also able to take this power away with a thought.[20]
With time and training his power further advanced as sustained application of his power, even to the extent of levitating an island miles above ground level,[21] can continue while he sleeps,[22] he was able to somewhat reshape mountains on the Moon[23] and demonstrated the ability to lift a small stone in China while residing in L.A. and deposit it in Australia through a victims head just to see if he could so.[24] By separating himself from Earth's gravitational field and instead attuning himself to the gravitational field of the Sun he was able to cross the distance from Earth to the Sun within minutes, where his individual force field proved strong enough to withstand the forces of the Sun itself. [25]
Hall's single most ambitious display of power was when he held almost every Marvel hero in stasis, including the whole Fantastic Four, some of the X-MenThor, Hercules, the Hulk and Namor, and began using his powers to try reshaping the Earth in his image and such physical powerhouses as .[26]
He also had the ability to detect extra-dimensional-shiftings and phased or invisible objects through his immediate awareness of gravitational shiftings[27][28] and while he was not able to invoke dimensional portals[29] he is at least able to close them.[30] He can simulate vast superhuman strength and durability using gravitonic fields to surround his body, but he cannot actually manipulate density or increase his physical strength.

When Graviton uses Reverse Gravity, he may use Reverse Gravity two additional times.

Any time an opponent would begin the movement of Graviton or a figure within 4 clear sight spaces of Graviton, you may first roll the 20-sided die. If you roll a 9 or higher, the figure may not be moved and the figure may not attack with a normal attack this turn.

GRAVITATIONAL SHIELD
When rolling defense for Graviton, if there are at least two unrevealed Order Markers on this card, add one automatic shield to whatever you roll.

Yeah, he's pretty much able to do what he should do, though is much powered down from what he could "thematically" do, but so are so many other figures. He's a cross between Magneto and Jean Grey as far as the powers go as they easily translate into gravitational-based powers. There are some slight differences, enough that he should play differently than either of those two for the most part.
