Re: Public Design Post
I would like your voice Bats.
I guess what I am looking for is if I should fight for dual class or except single class and move on. Thanks. |

Re: Public Design Post
I think it works either way. My preference is for the single class, personally, but I know others feel differently.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: Public Design Post
I have updated my takes on Baron Mordo and Nimrod for you critiquing pleasure. As requested, I have limited my versions to one of each.

Re: Public Design Post
Nimrod looks great.
My only suggestion is a small wording tweak in Reconstruction. Where you say "not adjacent to an opponent's unit" you can just say "not engaged." For Baron Mordu, Mesmerizing Aura is broken. If I don't have any figures with wounding powers, Magical Defense, or range of 3+ (which isn't that unlikely - think about a Hawkman/Hawkgirl/Hawkmen build for instance), Baron Mordu is unkillable and automatically wins every game. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: Public Design Post
On the subtractions, you should say "to a minimum of zero," though you might consider going with "to a minimum of one" just in case he faces any figures with an attack of 1 or 2, so they still have a prayer (not that figures like that have much of a prayer anyway).
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: Public Design Post
I'm changing my master post format from spoilers to links, but I couldn't find a post of Boom-Boom, so I was going to post her:

Re: Public Design Post
Hmm ... Time Bomb Special Attack doesn't really feel like a "Time Bomb." There's no real "time" aspect and it's not any bigger of a "bomb" than the top level of her barrage.
Speaking of the barrage, I like it, but it feels like a barrage of shots, not a barrage of explosions. In Heroscape, it's not an explosion (for me anyway) unless it affects figures adjacent to the defender. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: Public Design Post
I like that version of Mordo, but I worry that -2 will be too strong. He'll be next to impossible to kill for any melee unit with an attack 4 or lower. -1 is still pretty strong, and the range on that could always be increased slightly if needed. Also, try this for wording:

Also, does Outcast really fit here? I know she was with the Brotherhood in X-Men: Evolution (which is where I know her from Last edited by TrollBrute : August 9th, 2012 at 12:12 PM. |

Re: Public Design Post
"Time Bomb" is just what Boom-Boom calls them. I think they're just normal explosions.
You could have her top SA affect all figures within 2 spaces, and her bottom one affect all figures adjacent to the chosen figure, to give you the sense of different explosions. So like: TIME BOMB SPECIAL ATTACK Range 4. Attack 4. Choose a figure to attack. All figures within 2 clear sight spaces of the targeted figure are also affected by Time Bomb Special Attack. Destructible Objects roll 2 less defense dice against Time Bomb Special Attack. Roll attack dice once for all affected figures. Each figure rolls defense die separately. Boom-Boom cannot be affected by her own Time Bomb Special Attack. EXPLOSION BARRAGE SPECIAL ATTACK Range 5. Attack 2, 3, or 4. Boom-Boom starts each turn with 8 attack dice. Choose any figure within range and attack by rolling 2, 3, or 4 attack dice. Boom-Boom may keep making Explosion Barrage Special Attacks with 2, 3, or 4 attack dice until she has rolled all 8 attack dice. Boom-Boom may target the same or different figures with each attack. Any figures adjacent to the targeted figure are also affected by Explosion Barrage Special Attack. Roll attack dice once for all affected figures. Each figure rolls defense die separately. Destructible Objects roll 1 less defense die against Explosion Barrage Special Attack. Though, that could make her a bit powerful (range/attack numbers might need to come down). For Mordo: I really think it would be a good idea to keep his aura at only -1 attack/defense, otherwise there are just some armies that have no chance to bring him down. MESMERIZING AURA All opponent's figures within 2 clear sight spaces of Baron Mordo subtract 1 from their attack and defense dice, to a minimum of 1, and if common, cannot attack Baron Mordo. Figures with the Magical Defense special power are not affected by Mesmerizing Aura. Edit: Didn't see TrollBrute's recommendation until too late. |
