All items borrowed from the tournament collection will be recorded on a check-in sheet. Any figure that is broken or misplaced must be recorded and the name listed on the check-in sheet is responsible for the value of that figure (pricing based on Auggies Buy Site price).

Time: The event will begin at 10am as scheduled but if there are more than 16 participants, we will host a 5th round which will mean that the event will go longer than 4pm most likely.

Prizes: With Heroscape's cancellation, I have decided to expand our prize pool this year. Everyone will get a prize, but they may not all be Heroscape related. Other board/card games as well as food and drink items will be available in the prize pool. If anyone has a worthy prize donation, let me know BEFORE THE TOURNAMENT and we can arrange to have the entry fee waived.

Attendees: Bring your friends! Every person I have met before (so far all of you) that brings a friend will receive a special prize.

As the date draws near, I hope to separate the list into definites and maybes. Keep me updated and get in your practice drafting now!

How big can the draft pool we bring be?

There is no draft pool. This is a pure draft. If you have it, you can draft it.

I'm not sure if this has been somewhere before, but can you explain, IN FULL, the rules and nuances of the draft?

Sure.

1. Player 1 and Player 2 sit down for a match.
2. They roll a d20 to see who goes first.
3. Player 1 (who rolled a higher number) picks 1 unit for his army.
4. Player 2 then chooses 2 units for his army.
5. Player 1 chooses 2 units for his army.
6. It carries on like this (2 units at a time) until both players have their full army chosen.
7. The players set up their start zones, roll for initiative and play the game.

For the sake of time, any number of common squads are considered a unit. So, in drafting, you don't have to say how many Knights Templar you are taking, just that you are taking the Knights Templar in your army. Every unit that you draft MUST be in your army. You cannot draft the same unit twice (In round 1 draft Rats and in round 3 draft rats).

We will give a brief preview before the tournament starts to clear up any questions.
