Did anyone get to see this at Gencon? The video of the pre-painted deluxe edition looks awesome. I think my son may really enjoy this game as he likes army guys. WWII Army plus alien tech = goodness.

Palo Parante used to be at Rackham and had a huge hand in designing all of the At-43 stuff. If you look at the Dust Tactics, it has a very At-43 feel. The Russian units to the At-43 Red Blok especially.

Dust Tactics may be successful though, because even if ends up to be a lesser game, Fantasy Flight is just a much smarter, more well run company than Rackham.

I am not familiar with the game you are referring to. Is that a good game? The rule book for Dust is online for anyone that is interested. I'd like to see the scenarios.

Look up AT-43 on board game geek, you'll see what I'm talking about.

At-43 is basically Warhammer for folks that don't want to pay so much, put the pieces together themselves, paint them or buy a new rule book each year.

It's a pretty good game managed by a very poor company.
