Fracture costs too much!
Wiz Kids standard conversions?

I'm trying to find out if there's any kind of universaly accepted conversion for converting wiz kids different clicks products to heroscape? Specifically I'm looking to see if there's any way to convert the numbers that are in the dials to herscape terms. I can modify the abilities myself to get an accurite Idea (IE what supermans heat vision woudl be and what not). but it woudl be nice if I had some kind of Idea what the various attack and defense powers translated into for dice.

Doc_Savage is surprisingly tart
I think that if you want to do that many clix, you might as well just play clix on the HS map. To keep the simplicity of HS, many powers will have to be dropped and the stats simplified.

Clix is just too complicated............

I of course have translated a bunch of clix to HS, but I have just used the figures and my memories of these characters in the comics to make my customs.....

If I were you, I'd avoid Battletech, crimson skies, heavy gear, warhammer, gear krieg, and just about any game other than heroscape then.

Oh, I've done my time on several of those, pal! I grew up playing old Avalon-Hill boardgames like Third Reich and PanzerBlitz - most of the latter day games you mention are like lightning by comparison.

I have moved up to Euro-Games in the last three years. Being able to play 3-5 games of Settlers of Catan, Carcassonne, or Ticket to Ride in one night has spoiled me for most wargames, I think.

I've played ASL, and Richtoffen's War and Starship Troopers (Avalon Hills) and Warhammer 40K, but with a job and kids the not playing part of those games takes up too much time.

And to make an accurate conversion of a Heroclix character, you need to have their powers come and go as they are injured, and have their stats change, too. That was my point. To convert Clix to scape requires massive simplification. It is not a conversion as much as a reimagining....

Fracture, try downloading "HSToolkit" from the software download section. It has the ability to put in formulas that will convernt from one gaming system to another. I think Star Wars minis and Mage Knight are in there with examples of conversion formulas, but I don't think Heroclix is complete.

With a little comparison against those other systems and some mental work on your part, you should be able to come up with a pretty standard conversion for all Heroclix.

Perhaps others have already done this?
