I am pretty sure "ever" covers the specific criteria, it must have been that pesky "a" in "evar" that Velenne used that threw you off ...

It was a great show, I own the DVD set for the series, but we did have a thread on this before if I am not mistaken.

Possibly, it may have been on HQ (the sites sort of run together in long term memory) or it faded to auto-prune (which has been deactivated at this point).

Firefly the series and Serenity the movie are a must on DVD.

I only saw the show for the first time in the last three months. Before that I had never heard of it (No TV). I very much enjoyed the show. It had several things going for it. It was a blend of two genres that had never been put together succesfully. The cinemetography used styles that are uncommon in today's media. The stories were quite good and unapologetic. Truly one of the best shows produced.

All those great things said, I did not get that same feel in the movie. It did not have the western feel to it. By introducing a larger universe than we had seen before, it lost some of the aloneness the series had. I did not like haw physically dark everything was either (a common trend in today's movies, especially sci-fi)

I have to agree, was oe of the best one season shows ever. I think keeping it one seson never gave it a chance to "jump the shark"

My wife or I always yell, "Mal!, we've got Reavers!!!" whenever Deathreavers are played.

I never watched the show, but I really enjoyed the movie. I can't say if it is the best single season show ever for those reasons, but I'd have to go with Cowboy Bebop for my pick. That said, I'd probably rate it pretty high once I watch it.

sad that the movie has so dramatic change in the end.

but another movie oer tv movies couldbe an option. if the series restartet(damm you fox)

the series was great but 24 episodes wehre in the way better.

joss hat make a big mistake he belive he can eat from his buffy bonus , and creat a series with no bi story line because he thougt 13 for look and the other story an a cliffhanger at the end. sad that he loose

the movie strangeto tell all in that movie and cut some storylines for mainstream. even the

the next movie should have clone tech, or a jorney to the other side.
