C3G Power Rankings - Major Update In Progress!

Hey, Scapemage, you should add the official Marvel character rankings, too. That'd be an easy copy and paste.

I agree with IamBatman, Darkseid should probably go up, but Batman is perfect.

From my playtests, I think Penguin would be a little low, and Harley would be decent. Oh, and Doomsday is probably around C, C-. But Joker needs to go up!!!

I'd put Green Lantern Hal Jordan at an even B. He rarely dominates, but if he's played well he's almost always solid.
I'd put both Deadpool and Wolverine at an A. I'd put Professor X at an A- as he makes Mutant armies work really well and is a decent closer in his own right.
I'd put Angel and Jean Grey at A as well as they're really good support figures in almost any army.

Thanks for all the input, and if you put a unit name and a desciption like I do then I will add it. As for Joker, ok he will go up, but he isn't that good really. Manipulation jolts him up to C+, but hwen ranking, you have to take everything about the character into account, not just 1 power.

...But if he dominates games because of that one power, why should he be so low?

So are you saying that ANYBODY with negative powers, like Marcu, should be extremely low?

I bumped Joker to C+, which Isn't extremely low. Although Marcu has negative powers and low defense, he has high life and a good attack for just 20 points. I'd put him at B-/B/B+.

I'm actually considering holding a C3G event around here (probably winter time) since a couple of us live in Mass. and I live in Vermont. I think Bats lives in New York.

That'd be cool! We were going to have a C3G tourney a few months back, but at the last minute the guy in charge changed his mind, and I don't remember why. But I REALLY wanted to use Joker then!

Vermont is a very scenic state, it'd be worth it if you, maybe, stayed a night in Brattleboro, a very historic town. A weekend with the wife (and a day with C3G).

Perhaps a better approach would be to ask the C3G heroes, Allies, and sidekick to vote on each character and average the votes.

That way no one person's opinion would prejudice the vote.
