With a 7 def and an extra attack die if they shoot at teh same target, they are not too bad. I have used them many times just for thier staying power at range.

What about Guilty and a squad of Deathreavers? 70 points of coyboy/roborat goodness.
Actually, 70 points is a rough number ot be left with. The Zettains or the Archers fill the points, but I never really liked the Zettains and the Archers really need more than 3. The 4th Mass would be a solid choice, but they are slowish and using them as an effective ranged power during the game requires you to change the way you play the rest of the army to make them effective. It seems like there are Marro in your army, so its probably a faster fluid moving type. I'd go with the Marros and/or Me-Burq-Sa, but I'd be willing to bet that the Marros are already in there. (Am I right?) Me-Burq-Sa fits into any type of army, since his high movement lets him get where he is needed (and possibly bypasses defense) with the fewest order markers. I'd go with him. I got nuthin... |

Basically, tell us what makes up the other 430 points, and we can give better advice.
If you have Romans - MBS for bonding, or 4th Mass if you have Marcus (or an all valiant army). Archers for definite if you are fielding the Venoc Warlord (A couple squads of Romans, Venoc Warlord, Aubrien Archers and some vipers sounds like a nice army, actually). Deadeye Dan if you have Brunak or Theracus; or are at a loss. If you expect oppponents to use minions or other high defence bastards, Deadeye is almost a must-draft, IMO. But yeah, give us your 430 points, we can advise clearer. On my command, fix bayonets. |
