The C3G and Reinforcements Arrive

I saw a pic of the Reinforcements Arrive units, and when I came here to check out if the C3G crew had come up with their own versions I noticed that none of them have been developed here. Is that a coincidence, or was it an intentional decision made in the hope that HS may eventually release them?

Punisher, Bullseye, and Beast have already been done by C3G. Beast was released in the X-men themed set, while the other two are still waiting to be released.

There are plans to do the entire Fantastic Four as well, but they are still in early development, as far as I know.

Ah, thanks. That explains why I didn't see Punisher and Bullseye in the Books index, and I thought that the Beast fig was Mr. Fantastic.

Yep - we're really not influenced by the Reinforcements Arrive plans at all - we're slowly grinding away at the projects we're most interested in, in the order we're most interested in them.
We already have plans in place to work on the vast majority of units that were planned for that set, though - and as Adam said, have already completed a few.

I believe there are all of 3 figures in The Reinforcements (Will Never) Arrive set that aren't in one stage of development or another at C3G.

Also, someone said IF the reinforcements ever DID arrive, they'd take a break from C3G stuff to marvel () over the new figures. That's how I'd to it, too.

Reinforcements are not coming.... from the official game, but C3G is working very hard to put out a lot of quality comic designs, and we are only getting better.

I was wondering, did you shy away from the Reinforcement set characters at first, because of the false hope?

Because otherwise, I would have expected the FF almost immediately.

We actually decided early on two things.

1. We already had a Marvel Master Set, so we wanted a DC one to match it.
2. We wanted to be clear that this is 'our' custom project, and we will work on what we want when we want to, and no release or lack of would stop us from doing just that.

Well, the DC thing was a given, but I was curious. I probably would have avoided them for a little while at least, but I don't care what you guys do! They're all good!
