Arrow Going Where no Heroscaper Has Gone Before... Star Trek Scape

I present to you, from the reaches of the galaxy...

KLINGONS!!!!

A squad I recently designed. I haven't seen any real Star Trek units out there, so I thought this would be unique. (correct me if I'm wrong about being first to make Star Trek units)

New Figures - Kirk and Spock! (added 6-20-2010)

And now, towering over the field, blowing up entire armies with a 1000 point price tag -

Spoiler Alert!

Anyhow, I would appreciate comments or questions. Thank you for your time.

New figures added... Kirk and Spock!

Based on suggestions from a friend after he saw my Klingons.

Re: Going Where no Heroscaper Has Gone Before... Star Trek S

Good theme, the only criticisms I can make are in the wording and formatting (most notably that names of special abilities should be capitalized, the last paragraph on Spock mentions the second ability twice)

Also, Captain Kirk bonds with himself .

If you do a search for Star Trek Strike Force you will find Star trek minis. They are about a head too small but work pretty good with the new DND minis. They had Klingon warriors. Most of the stuff was Next gen but minis are minis.

Yep You need the titles of the Abilities in all caps. And if you change it to When you reveal an order marker, instead of take a turn He will not bond with himself but well so far only spock.

Re: Going Where no Heroscaper Has Gone Before... Star Trek S

Heroclix is releasing Star Trek clix. I figure once they come out, there will be a lot more interest in Star Trek Heroscape Customs (including from me). I don't know if they will be figures and/or ships, but probably both.

Good job, by the way. But maybe I would make Kirk have officer squad bonding and make a squad of Red-Shirts

Re: Going Where no Heroscaper Has Gone Before... Star Trek S

Thanks for the Comments. It wasn't exactly planned for Kirk to bond with himself, I shall fix that.

As for figures, I am actually using figures from Star Wars miniatures, but when the Heroclix come out, I'll keep an eye out for them.

The caps debate, I see little affect about that. I would fix it, but that would mean me fixing ALL my customs. Sorry, I see to much work for little reward (other than anesthetics)

At the bottom of Spock's card you reference not using "Vulcan Mind Meld".
I think you mean "Vulcan Nerve Pinch".

And because I just can't help myself . . .

Re: Going Where no Heroscaper Has Gone Before... Star Trek S

I like what you have started with Kirk and Spock.

Kirk: I really like Dirty Fighter. I think it really captures his theme. In my opinion Famous Captain should be dropped. I think Tricky is right. Maybe tweak it so he can choose to instead be valiant. I would also change him from an officer to a captain. That would nix any bonds with self problems without having to include a line of text preventing it.

Spock: I would change him from Logical to Precise. It kind of departs from the Star Trek flavor, but it mixes better with Heroscape. Also I think Vulcan Nerve Pinch should only remove markers for the current round. The next round is a bit much. I don't like having the bit of text saying you can only use one or the other hanging by itself at the bottom. It's like an orphan line at the beginning or ending of a page. There's a part of me that thinks that Spock fits better with Vydar, maybe Kirk as well. Maybe give him a melee boost because Vulcans are strong?

Klingons: With the Gorillinators Tough only works on normal attacks. I think it needs to do the same to be consistent.
