Heroscape poem- Who's in Charge.

A heroscape poem from Punch Magazine 1883...at least, I think its about
Heroscape......

Who's in charge of the scapers game
as the players roll and the heroes strain
and the room is hot but the victorys near
and the armies flee the board in fear
and defenders roll from the cup in vain
for deaths in charge of the scapers game.

Well....I'm pretty sure it's an older version. They probably
used wooden figures, real ivory dice and a playing board
made from corn husks.....
