Hey yall (never typed that before...), i finally did my first repaint, took me a while and i havent clear coated it yet, but any advice on what to do to him before I seal him would be much appreciated. Its my undead mimring that is only placeable after the real mimring dies.

Try giving it a subtle greyish black wash to bring out the textute. Some yellow/brown washes would look cool to for weathering/decay effects.
Heres a picture of a real undead dragon I found. You can see the bone isnt as white as yours.

Btw I was jk about the "real" part. lol



also for a good blood splatter effect get a kind of bristly brush and put a bit of thinned down red on it. Pull the bristles back and then the red should fling on and look kidna cool

Thanks, I'll do that tonight then... And i already did the grey/black wash, it just doesnt show well on the camera, so i guess I'll do the yellow/brown later tonight, and as far as the blood splat, that sounds like fun

Well, the yellow wash didnt work out too well, may try again later, but right now he's all white, with bloody gashes and blood splats all over him, makes him look cooler, may try to attempt the wash again tomorrow, idk though.

Hmm, I’d go more brown then yellow. It does take a while to get good at washing but what you can do, if you’re having trouble with the wash is just put on kind of watered down paint and then smear most of the paint off with a paper towel before it dries. Its similar to a wash and in my opinion a tad easier. Gl

Well, made a card.. Notice the image is not the same... Actually copied another card of someone elses of an undead Mimring, but modded the stats and points a bit.

What about maintaining Mimring's normal attack (4) and defense (3) and adding an ability like Insubstantial (like the new Phantom Knights)? You could even retain the same life (4).

Also, you need a line like "Spectral Mimring cannot be affected by its own Unholy Breath" ... unless it can, I guess.

Okay, my next unit is gonna be a Ne-Gok-Sa with someones gun (idk who) strapped to his arm.
