Re: C3G HR Department: the Dumping Ground
Btw, I think MoonKnight is cool, and would make an awesome custom.

Re: C3G HR Department: the Dumping Ground
Hmm ... good question ... he's sure not a "crime-fighter" ... I think vigilante is probably right, yeah.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: C3G HR Department: the Dumping Ground
I'd say Vigilante would work for him. He works for the god of vengeance after all.

Re: C3G HR Department: the Dumping Ground
Time for introspection? OK...
Why am I here? Because I was at a point where I was about to give custom making and even visiting this place a break. I was tapped out. I'd been working on a total HS conversion for Team Fortress 2. It was my idea initially so I was the lead for the project. Velenne came on board and was invaluable. He (along with others - Soundwarp and Rdhight (where did he go?)) helped fine tune the cards. Velenne made all of the maps and scenarios. I made the cards, glyphs and even some paper cutout figures as there are no minis for the characters. I think we made a great team. It was during the process of writing the handbook and the constant playtesting that I started to feel the pressure of putting it all together. I stopped to deal with some big upheavals in the real world, and I've not really ever got back to TFscape to finish it completely. I don't even know if there is any demand for it to be completed (aside from some gentle nudging from Velenne Soon after this the idea of the C3G was floated. It sounded like everything that I'd tried to do but failed to finish. A big plus is that I wouldn't be the lead guy. So I jumped at the chance to be a part of it. I've never regretted that decision. I feel that it's a privilege to be a part of such a vibrant group. I have no plans to disappear any time soon. ~whitestuff _________________________________________________________ BTW, I just had a thought. A bit of an odd thought really... Would the C3G be interested in taking on TFscape to release under the C3G banner? Don't feel compelled to say yes (in other words, at least think about it before saying no Once the collective group makes a decision (which I imagine will be No - TFscape isn't comic customs), is there any individual C3Ger who is interested in lending a hand? It really is close to being finished... |

Re: C3G HR Department: the Dumping Ground
Ok, enough dilly-dallying. I've been lurking around C3G long enough and it's
time for me. First, let me start by saying I am a big fan of the work you guys are doing and am overall impressed and awed by it. Iam, Grey, White, all you guys, really, really great work. Second, for those of you who have perused the CMD threads, you might kinda know who I am, as I just started working with them on a part-time basis, and, inadvertantly, caused a little stir in that thread. Not trying to stir the pot here, just want a chance to be heard, and this seems the thread to do it. Next, I know I have ABSOLUTELY no chance of breaking in on you guys' little clubhouse. I don't fit the criteria and simply don't have the time to devote to it. But I would like the opportunity to throw ideas in the general pot, provided those ideas are welcome. (Shameless Plug) My own work is here: http://www.heroscapers.com/community...ad.php?t=19022. And although it is a SERIOUS work in progress, I would love input from more of the masters of this craft. So, if us little up and coming guys can have a say, I'd like the opportunity to do just that, is basically what I'm getting at. Right before you guys released the DCMS, I had just started to hash out ideas for my own DCMS. But now, after having seen yours, mine not only pales by comparasion, but ultimately would have just been an embarassment to me. However, take a look at what I have done, and maybe, just maybe, you might think well enough of me to include my opinion in your discussions. For your consideration. Quote:

Re: C3G HR Department: the Dumping Ground
Don't forget, anyone is welcome to offer suggestions, critiques, and ideas in the C3G threads. You don't have to be a Hero or Sidekick to contribute your thoughts.
