C3G HR Department: the Dumping Ground

My 6 year old wants to play tonight, but after getting the Super Hero Squad Nintendo DS game today, he wants to field a team of Hulk, Surfer, Iron Man, Cap, Mighty Thor, Wolverine and Falcon. That's what you have to deal with sometimes when dealing with kids. It's certainly tough to playtest because any map would immediately drae his interest and then forcing him to play specific characters and expecting him to make the smartest move every time is a real stretch. When people told me that kids change everything, who knew they were talking about your ability to scape?

Yep, like my son wanted to play Heroscape tonight. So I thought "Great! Maybe I can finally do a little playtesting!". So I excitedly asked him "Do you want to try out some new X-Men figures? How about Magneto?". His response? "Nahh, I'm not in the mood for X-Men. Let's play chess instead."

The only heroes that you mentioned that we don't already have through the official license are Wolverine and Falcon. When we get to Ala Cart, you can design one of those, so you will be closer to being able to play with C3G customs when the kid throws you curve ball.

So you're counting Mighty Thor as official? Thanks man, I am proud of that one.

My twin girls will be 7 on the 21st and Super Hero Squad is high on their list for PS2. We Tivo the SHS cartoons, along with any Batman, X-Men or Justice Leagues animated series out there. They had a early birthday bowling party with their friends lastnight (my goodness are eleven 6 + 7 year olds noisy hyper ) and my girls each got 2 Webkinz pets. So I had to log them on to Webkinz.com and get their pet activated and they played around with them for awhile. We only have one computer, so now I'll have to wrestle them away from Webkinz.com to get on here.

Yeah, sometimes the kids can be Scape teases. One minute they want to play and the next it's on to something else.

Don't either of you think that's toooo funny, I have a pretty cool Moonknight custom ready to bust out ala carte after the first few or so. I have a couple cool different powers I've been saving.
