Glyph Bio - When the odds are stacked and things are looking bleak, heroes or villains will occasionally team up with someone of similar interests. Some team ups are naturally successful like Batman and Superman, the World's Finest, while certain characters, such as the Joker, tend to not work well with others.

So, in a game I played last night, Superman used his x-ray vision to find this glyph, then he flew to it and carried into the battle where then other heroes within 8 spaces of him used the glyph's power to bond with either Superman or yet another hero within 8 spaces of Superman.

Did I play it correctly?

No. The Equipment Glyph rules only apply to Equipment Glyphs. This is a Permanent Glyph - you can stand on it and occupy it, but you can't pick it up or move it.

This is a permanent Glyph, not a Equipment Glyph. Superman should not have been carrying it at all. At best, you can only stand on it.

I looked at this Glyph again for some reason and had a question about it that I don't recall if we discussed/answered it during the creating process or editing process. Forgive me if we already went through this.

It says:

"If you reveal an Order Marker on the card of a Unique Hero either occupying this Glyph or within 8 clear sight spaces of the figure occupying this Glyph, you may first choose any other Unique Hero you control and take an immediate turn with the chosen figure."

Now the question I have is, "was it intended for either player to use the Glyph of Team Up,no matter who's figure occupies it?" If so then I guess it's okay as written. But if it was only supposed to work for the player who's figure occupies the Glyph, then as written, doesn't it seem open to either player being able to use it?

If it is meant to just work for the player who's figure occupies the Glyph, wouldn't it be better to read like this:

"If you reveal an Order Marker on the card of a Unique Hero either occupying this Glyph or within 8 clear sight spaces of a friendly figure occupying this Glyph, you may first choose any other Unique Hero you control and tak an immediate turn with the chosen figure."

Like I said, for some reason I checked this Book out and reread the card and I had forgotten if we had ever discussed this and what the result was. There wasn't a clarification, so I thought I'd ask.

Without that addiional wording, it would leave the mechanic open to interpretation. You know how rules lawyers can get.

Well I know that when I playtested with it in a game, I played it as to be used by only the player controlling the figure on the glyph.
