I saw some promising castle sets on Ebay yesterday and wanted to ask here first if anyone knew how well they worked as heroscape terrain.

The castle set in question is Mage Knight AD&D Heroclix Castle Wall set 2. Couldn't tell from the posting if they would work on hex based terrain or if they were solely fro grid based like D&D.

I'm not familiar with that set, but you could always mount the pieces on HS terrain. You'd probably end up with few options on how you could build it but it definitely fit on a HS board.

You might have to search a little to find it but I've heard that WotC has dropped the price on their castle expansion to $12.99. And by heard I mean I bought 3 sets a local game store at that price, and talked to the manager of another store that said they were selling them for that price as well.

There are pics on here somewhere with Mage Knight castles on a Heroscape battlefield. I have some (that I could probably sell you, actually, since I don't plan on using them) and though they don't fit HS's hex-based design, they could work out OK.
