when using the talon grab for the wyvern, can you place targets adjacent to you if the space is over an edge? thus causing fall damage when the target lands? or even lava damage. i know it says "same level space", so i look at a map essentially filled with empty spaces until filled with terrain or characters during battle. a quick respone would be much appreciated. thanks fell heroscapers.

No. Even if it didn't say "same-level", placing the figure far enough down that it would take falling damage would not be placing it ADJACENT to the Wyvern, which is a requirement.

However, since it says "same-level", the figure being grabbed must end up both adjacent to the wyvern and on the same level as the wyvern.

If you want the wyvern to be able to place other figures in lava, place the molten lava tiles on the same level as regular tiles--molten lava tiles don't add to the height of the terrain.

Also, it'd be much appreciated if you could use proper capitalization. The key that reads "Shift" will help with that .

Thanks for the quick responses, they are helpfull. It seems Drake lives to fight another day.

I guess my dreams of a Wyvern dropping helpless soldiers out of the skies ends there(like azaezel in X-men: 1st class).. untill some other miniature is created.

I've been looking over the C3Gs for a while and want to craft a couple characters i've been dreaming of. 1 of which a Drow, assassin, merciless. Has a special that starts with 3 markers, range 5 atk 3, can attack twice. but may choose to use a "bloodletting" arrows that eventually kills whomever its stuck too. essentially they'd have to roll 1 die at the end of each round(like lava field damage).

My money's on the KoW but that's just my gut feeling...'course the skill levels of the players and the terrain would also be factors in who wins and loses so you can't really say one side would definitely win every time...

My bet would be on Dendrik and the Knights of Weston. The sheer numbers advantage is a major factor. Sir Hawthorne can be a real game changer though.
