World's largest Heroscape map?

The Hasbro Family Game Day map was quite huge.

Are there any larger?

Why don't you just PM Dr. Weirdscaper?

Honestly, I don't know. Weirdscapers map thread is here.

What does neg-rep accomplish that a kindly-worded PM can't, besides possibly angering the recipient?

Rednax desperately needs a wave 4 rerelease.

Perhaps even more amazing than the map is that fallow joined September 24, 2006 and today was his first post. I guess the name "fallow" is kinda appropriate.

I'm not sure if "welcome" is appropriate, so umm happy posting.

Hello mrkurtb, I'm having a hard time deciding if your post was intentionally unkind or not. I'll take it as not as that makes me feel more welcome.
You also actually KNOW what fallow means, not many do.

I joined heroscapers 3 years ago when I bought a M1 for my 10yr old daughter and I to play together but wasn't impressed with the simplistic rules. I had only read the basic rules and we were still very much into Mage Knight so HS sat on the shelf until a few months ago when I rediscovered the game on the advice of a gaming friend.

Now I'm preaching Heroscape to the masses.

I found several dozen M2 sets for $8 at Toys-R-Us and gave many away to friends and as birthday presents for my kid's friends.

Now hopefully I'm not a stranger.

No, it wasn't unkind. He just doesn't know whether or not to give you the "Oh, hey, a new member! Welcome to the site new member!" kinda thing because on the one hand you seem to have been here a while, but on the other you have never posted.

Anyways, Welcome to the site!

Definitely not meant as unkind. It just seemed funny for me to say "welcome to the boards" to someone who has been here almost 2 years longer than I have been.

Glad to see you've (re)discovered Heroscape. Preach on!

Re: World's largest Heroscape map?

Are we just talking length and width here, or cubic volume?

Re: World's largest Heroscape map?

I'd say take into account the footprint and number of sets used to construct the map. The number of sets would act to determine the volume I would think.

That Hasbro Family Day map looks to be about 16' x 4' with a T at the far end about 12' wide.

Pretty thin though at most spots, I'd guess they used about 12 master sets and a few expansions.

What's your largest Dr. Weirdscaper?

That lava mountain is pretty sweet. Also like that large bridge in the foreground.

Just curious, how long does that map take to set up? Or tear down for the matter?
